Our Courses & Story

“We at Legacy Authors help bring people into the wilderness, by planning low cost group trips, premium marksmanship courses and ways to bring the health of the wilderness to those in the city.”

PATRICK EN NOBLE

Wilderness Instructor

My partner and I took the course with Patrick, and it was incredible. We spent the night outside in a tent under the stars in the midst of the forest. It was during winter so it was very, very cold, but Patrick provided us with everything we needed. That being said we learned that we definitely need a lot of layers and we will pack even better next time!!

Before we fell asleep, we heard coyotes howling to one another; this magical moment was a personal highlight for me. Waking up in the morning and still being in nature was a wonderful experience. Patrick took excellent care of us; for breakfast we cooked lamb and brewed some delicious coffee, using just a fire. Shooting was something new for us, so we were both nervous and excited, but we never felt unsafe with Patrick. We now feel like we have a better understanding of firearms and how safe they can be once you learn about them and actually know what you’re doing.

This was a great learning experience and a much needed escape from the city. We can’t wait to get back out in the woods. Definitely want to try his hiking trips. Thank you so much, Patrick!!!

A walk along the edge, a hidden beach, a hike beside a mountain river, these are all places to go and live well within.

The goal is to structure life simplistically around in demand endeavors. This includes guided hikes, hunts and camping in this new economy. The perfect life placed within a city is not the best way to serve people like a tribe. Lasting friendships are formed when you care for one another while being on a shared path, vision and on a combined challenging mission. It is doing something different over a dinner, a walk, a fire or on a far off mountain. Mountain conversations over a cup of tea, are far better than ones around stiff chairs in the city.

Patrick En Noble is a professional hiking and hunting guide and is a trained Wilderness First Responder. When he is not in the mountains he has worked as a public safety officer working with the homeless population in one of the most violent neighborhoods in Boston contracted with the district and Boston Police. Besides his business endeavors, he has also served U.S. Soccer nationally for a decade and as a NCAA and semi professional referee.

The work of Legacy Authors and it’s brother company Advanced Core is based around the work of Sabbatian Junger in his book Tribe. The goal of this company is to provide low cost planning and deliberate community to Boston and its members and serve them year after year with consistent value. Serve a few well; and one can serve across the world.

Patrick hires Massachusetts and Alaskan Hunting guides to serve as spotters, wilderness land experts and trainers for hiking, photography and hunting missions. If you are interested in developing a connection to advanced skills; review the training required to a be a coguide once or twice a year.

“Stand at the crossroads and look; ask for the ancient paths, ask where the good way is, and walk in it, and you will find rest for your souls.”

The calm and confidence of having a guide in the wilderness; it changed the direction of our work and influenced the mission to this day. Legacy Authors can bring everyone involved a quiet place to think, a place to heal and a momentary mission to rally together around. There is a unique honor to serving and preparing those moments. No other form of writing compares to being a pro guide and preparing those moments.

“I am not a navy seal; but I am a generalist and I believe that people better rise to the occasion when they are committed to a tribe & wilderness mission.”

Wilderness Hunts & Hikes

  • Go with the armed protection of a guide, and experience top gear on the most solid of trails.

  • If hunting is a secondary choice, choose to hunt with a lens.

  • Prepare for a biannual or quarterly trip with wilderness personal training.
